A Home Not Just A House
A home is different than a house. A house is four walls and a roof over your head. A house may or may not be somewhere that you feel safe, loved, happy and much more.
But a home is different than a house. Yes, it also may have four walls and a roof but is not just that, it’s also love, safety, happiness. Those are all happy things. There are sad things, too, that happen. It’s good to talk about sad things.
Everybody deserves a home -- children, teens and adults. If you are reading this, and you or someone you know is in Grade 4, 5, or 6, I encourage you to write because every student that submits one of these Habitat for Humanity puts in ten dollars to help make someone a home, not just a house.
