Just Be You!
They ask, “What does home mean to you?”
For me home is when you can just be you!
In public you have to have good behavior
And you have to deflect failure
At home you can put your feet up and relax
You can even feel safe perhaps
You won't be bothered at home
You will never be alone
And someone will always be known
You can be sad, mad or glad
You're feelings will never be bad
No one will judge
Your family will not hold a grudge
You can embrace your culture
Without everybody watching you like a vulture
You can smile with your teeth
No one will give you grief
You can be messy or clean
Your home will never make a scene
Forever it will be
That your home will give you glee
