My Home

Have you ever been playing outside and scraped your knee and had to get a bandaid from home and thought what if you didn’t have a home to go to? I am grateful to have a safe, cozy and laughable home to make memories in. I am very grateful to have a safe and secure home to protect me from sickness and disease. I am heartbroken that some people don’t have someplace to call home. I can probably tell you loads and loads of stories about game nights. I love my home because I have some of my favorite memories in it. I am a hockey player so my awesome dad always makes time to play hockey with me. I think home is a place where the people you love are not just a building. What do you like about your home? Imagine a room with all your favorite things in it. Well that is my room. I have books that I admire and amazing toys to play with. I love getting all cozy on a Saturday night and watching a fantastic movie with my family and eating delicious popcorn that my dad makes. I love my home because it is a place where I can be me. And a place where I can be goofy and crack jokes. I feel safe in my home and safe with my family. I appreciate Habitat for Humanity for helping people in need. Also helping people get a lovely home. I love my home, my room and my family. Thank you God for my home.
