That's Home to Me

Home to me is hugs and kisses, some beautiful days, some hard misses, the ones we share, the people we’re with. That's home to me. Home to me is the sound of laughter, the noise from dinner cooking and my dog barking, the life and love the home will hold. That’s home to me. Home is comforting like my room, my bed, my items and special things like settling into a good book at night and letting it whisk me away. That’s home to me. The taste of my dad’s barbecue chicken and Caesar salad and my mom’s mac and cheese are delicious in their own ways. That's home to me. Homes are full of memories, family, photos, and love, full of new memories to be made, dreams to be accomplished and hugs. That's home to me.
