The Meaning of Home

A number of people in the world don’t have a home, and that’s not exactly fair because everyone deserves one. There’s also a major difference between a house and a home, because a house is made of walls and a roof, and a home is made from love and safety. There are probably reasons for what makes your home and my home important to us, and those things might also be the reasons other families need a home. Like to be safe, have shelter, or find their happy place. A home isn’t a place, but a happy feeling. But you can also make a house into a safe place that you can call home, and these are some options on how. When you move into a brand new house, you are probably not yet familiar with the environment, so once you do get more familiar with the house, you would have probably found your happy place inside of that house and make it into your home. Inside your house, you will have very important things to you and your family. Your house/home wouldn’t probably feel the same without those important things in your house that you know of. At any other place aside from your house, you wouldn’t have the same amount of freedom as you do at your home. Like, if you were at school, you wouldn’t be able to munch on your snack in the middle of the day, unless your teacher allows it. But, at your house, you could probably have a snack if you want to. So, yes, there is a major difference between a house, and a home, but like I said, you could absolutely be able to change it. There are also a few reasons why my home is important to me. An example of that is family. If I were ever to be upset, or any negative feelings that you could think of. One day, I can talk to my family about how I feel, and I’d be able to trust them to give me good advice. Another example is my childhood. I am still young, but I have been spending most of my life living in my home/house. I definitely would not want to move to a different house. My brain has also naturally made my home the place where I’d feel most free. So, to be honest, I think my home makes me feel the most safe, and caring. Finally, I’m going to talk about why I think everyone deserves a home. I think everyone deserves a home because they need somewhere to have a nice life, and have feel-good memories. Another reason why I think everyone deserves a home is because they need to feel safe, have a roof above their head, and somewhere to easily take care of their family. I also think that everyone deserves somewhere that is their happy place. Having a home is important for everybody. If somebody in the world doesn’t have a home, they probably wouldn’t feel as safe and happy as we are. I hope you have learnt a few things that I have written in these paragraphs. Like how to make a house into a home. And what makes my home important to me. I also hope that you think every single person in the world deserves a home. Thank you!
