The Meaning of Home

Do you know how to make a house into a home? It is easier than you think. You don't need workers to build your house into a home all you need is a happy, loving, family. Everybody has something that is important to them. Everything in my home is important to me. Not everybody has a warm and cozy place to stay. Some people in your community do not have a safe place to stay. Just think even on the coldest nights some people do not have anywhere to go. My living room makes my house a home. I Love my living room because it's where my family gathers to talk and listen to the people in my family. You can share all the things you did or you're going to do. I play board games with my family in my living room. When I am in my living room I feel safe and heard. Another room that is really important to me is my room. My room also makes my house a home because I have all my stuff in it. It has my clothes and books. I have all my pictures in my room to remind me of all the fun things I’ve done. That's what makes my room my room, not anybody else's room. My street is one of my favorite parts of my home even if my street is not attached to my home I still call it my home. I love my street because that's where I learnt how to ride my bike, that's where I learnt how to fly a kite. I love playing with my nabors on my street. My home is really important to me because I can spend a lot of time with my family. All that time you spend with your family the more they get to know what you like and the more you get to know what they like. You can never forget all of the memories that happen in your home. Your home starts off with nothing and when you put all your stuff in it and all your family's stuff in it too. Your home starts to be more and more important. My home is unique because nobody else has the stuff that I have and nobody has the stuff that you have. I think everybody deserves a home because everybody should be treated the same. Everyone should have a warm and safe home to go to. They should have a home to talk and share with their family. Some people don’t have a safe place to go when it's cold, rainy, or stormy. Everyone cannot count on a sheltered place to go. Habitat for humanity helps give people a house so they can make it into a home. In my opinion everyone should have a home. Your home is very important and very special. No matter what your home looks like or feels like. Your home is perfect for you. Everybody has something or someone that is important and I know it. I have stuff that is important to me and I have people that are important to me too. I hope you think that everybody deserves not a house but a home. I hope you will try to help people without homes too.
