Home
Home is a thing that many of us can say we have. Big or small, safe or not, hot or cold, home exists in all those qualities.
Someone’s home could be a large mansion, filled with everything one could want. Someone’s home could be a house, with necessities covered and decorations sprinkled about. Someone’s home could be an apartment, small, but cozy, with the smell of food in the background. Someone’s home doesn’t need to be a residential building though. It could also be something irregular, like an RV.
For me, my home always feels like a relaxing place, the smell of my mom cooking dinner in the background, as I play the piano with a beautiful melody. The feeling of laying down in my bed and almost feeling like I can taste the chocolate in the cupboard helps solidify my feelings at home. There can also be more that comes with having a home though.
Since you could call many things home, even a street, but not all homes are equal. Not all homes are safe, not all homes are accessible and not all homes fit people's needs. A street is where an accident can be as dangerous as someone who threatens you every day and bad neighborhoods can be troubling for families to handle.
So never take a home that’s safe and relaxing for granted, because not everyone has a home like that.
