The Meaning Of Home

I want to help people who don’t have a home. When I am finished $10 will go to the Habitat for Humanity so they can create a home for the homeless. This document is about the meaning of home to me. In my home I have my family and my pets to stop me from feeling lonely. In my home I have things to entertain me like my computer, board games, funny games, and soccer. My home is the place where I return to, the place that I live in, the place I grew up and the place where I have survived natural disasters like tornadoes and thunderstorms. In my home I have made memories. I also have everything I need to survive, food, water, shelter, sleep and air. In my home I’ve felt sad, frustrated, happy and confused. I remember the time when my older brother had a friend over and her brother who is my age and we had a giant Nerf fight. It was kids VS teenagers. We started off in the storage room in where there’s nerf guns and ammo but there was a big problem which was that there was only 1 exit that leads into a big room which is the main part of the basement and it’s perfect for a base but they called it before we could! Then we couldn’t escape so we moved upstairs to the living room and I moved the chairs to create a fort. In the end I had fun. I remember my old cat who died from cancer. I remember when 5 years ago we buried her in a small glass coffin. After we buried her I wanted to take away the leaves that we had used. For my 10th birthday I got a game that I had wanted since Easter. The living room in my house which you see right as you walk in, there’s blue and white walls with a wooden roof. Everyone has had at least 1 fight in the house including my brother, dad, mom, my dog and my cats but we have moved on and we love each other. And that is what home means to me. I hope that someday everyone that’s homeless will have a home and prices for things will go down.
