What my home means to me

To me my home means a place where I can eat, play games, watch TV, sleep, and do arts and crafts. When I’m at home I feel a lot of emotions I will list a
few of them, happy, sad, mad, excited, disappointed and glad.
When I’m at home I do a lot of things such as making forts, playing video games, board games, crafts, and watercolor. I also hang out with my family and friends. That is what my home means to me.
My home has a lot of smells, sounds, and sights. Some smells are freshly baked cookies my mom just baked. A hot dinner my dad just cooked.
Some sounds you might hear are the rattling of game pieces falling out of the box. My mom told me and my sister Pema to go to school. My dad told me to shovel our driveway. Some sights you might see at my house are me and my sister playing a game. me or my sister watching TV. My mom or dad going out to shop. Sometimes a friend of ours might be there. Those are some smells, sounds and sights in my home.
My home also keeps me warm and safe from rain, snow and hail in the winter. In the summer it is also a place where I can cool down. At home I also get water and three meals a day so I don’t have to be hungry or thirsty.
Home to me is also a place of freedom.
Sometimes it is a place of chaos.
I am very grateful for my home.
