My Senses of Home
My house, and my home is Ozzy wagging his tail while at the door, music playing in the background, and my mom clicking her keyboard. This makes me feel comforted.
Home is me playing video games in the basement, Ozzy breaking my eardrums, and my mom or dad in a meeting. All of these make me feel safe.
Home is me eating gluten-free food, asking for gluten-filled food, and the comfort of my bed with the weighted blanket. These make me feel safe.
Home is me smelling the dinner on the stove, Ozzy’s fluffy and dirty fur, and fresh air from the open windows (if its summer). This makes me feel content.
