What Does Home Mean To Me
Home can mean infinite things but, in the end it’s not about where or, what, it’s about who. Who is there, who are you with who makes home feel complete. If you had everything you want put right into your hand, but no family it’s not home, home is where your family is.
Home is a feeling of sweet embrace, of safety of love, of family. If you lay down to sleep unsure of safety, love your not at home. At home you should feel the love radiating from the walls, from the people. Home smells like dinner being made, like the smell of cookies floating threw the air.
Be able to have food you love with the people you love. Embrace whoever whenever. You should know you are appreciated always, those “hello, how are you” show all you need to know. The rain and cold can’t get to you under the roof of love, empathy, kindness and knowing you are useful.
Home isn’t the smell of food, a warm bed, books and tv, a building. It’s the people there. Cherish everything thats given to you, cherish everything they’ve done for you.
Family is the true gift of life, home is where your family is, family is a gift. Family, friends found family, the people who you have connections with are the gift. Home is letting you experience your gifts all over again, over and over again.
It’s the wave of relief knowing you’re safe, you can do whatever; however, home is the family who's with you the whole way, always and forever. Home is like being the main character in the best story and living happily ever after!
