Home - the best place you can possibly be!

Home is the most important place in my life. It’s where I feel comfortable, it’s where I make memories and traditions, and where I can see, taste, hear, feel, and smell lots of different things. Home is where comfort is. Comfort is being able to share how you feel. Comfort is having a cozy bed or couch to curl up with a book on. It is someone who will always be there for you. Home is where my family and I make memories and traditions, like our family movie night. Every Saturday, my brother, my mom, my dad, and I sit down to watch our favourite movies. Or when my aunts and uncles, grandmas and grandpas, cousins and siblings, parents and grandparents gather round a big table for a big Thanksgiving dinner. Also, every Christmas I go over to my cousin's house with my brother and parents to make sugar cookies. Lots and lots of sugar cookies! In my home, I see lots of things, like my cat, my family, and my favourite movies during family movie night. I can hear my cat meowing, lots of laughter, and my family talking. In my home, I smell air fresheners making the air smell good. I can smell baked goods because my mom loves them. And flowers because my dad likes to give my mom flowers. In my home, I taste warm cinnamon buns, fresh muffins, and melty cookies. When I am in my home I can feel my cat, and I feel warm, safe, and comfortable. This is why home is the most important place in my life.
