What Home Means to Me
Home is a gallery of where memories rest,
like the late nights in my room where I study for an upcoming test.
Home is where I do chores to help my parents.
When I do a good job keeping the house neat and clean, they reward me with presents.
A home is not just made out of walls, a roof, and a base.
It’s where we stay to protect ourselves in a warm embrace
from harsh weather, which comes from place to place.
When I see the pavement completely snowed, I think about the struggles of the homeless people on the road.
My goal is to provide them with a roof over their heads.
