My Meaning of Home

I live in a big house that my Dad built. There are seven people in my family. It’s a little bit crazy and a little bit fun at the same time. Also, I have a dog, cat, fish, and a lizard somewhere in a crack. Much to my mom’s horror there have also been a few hairy rats. My brother Matthew is 12 and has amazing, beautiful brown hair with a middle part. It flows down his face. The annoying part is that he doesn’t care about it. He doesn’t wash it, admire it, or comb it. We never see Matthew. His face is always buried in a book unless he sees or smells food. Jacob is 16. He is the second oldest and He’s a gym rat. He is very hairy and muscular. We cannot blame him, but we can smell him. He puts a whole pile of axe on his armpits and walks around like he’s the Beauty King. Don’t tell him but he really isn’t. Caleb is 19. He’s all grown up and he has a girlfriend. Usually he comes upstairs, admires the food, and gobbles it down. He’s into scootering. He used to be one of the best on Vancouver Island, and usually comes back with a broken toe or a half-broken butt. Ollie is eight. He is the baby of the family. Ollie has very knotted hair and he refuses to comb it. Even when my mom bribes him. It’s his style. It’s pretty rad. Ollie is the hungriest of all of us. My mom swears he has a hollow leg. He thinks that he’ll be the tallest out of everyone, so he can get his revenge, but he won’t. I don’t know about this guy, but he is just trying to fit in to this crazy family. That is my meaning of Home.
