The Meaning of Home

Home means family and the people you care about. Home means the warmth of being there with the people you love. Home means my sister and all the good she has done. Home means the Filipino dishes my dad makes for the family. Home means the feeling of slowly falling asleep in my bedroom. Home means when I see my cousins after seven years. Home makes me happy when I feel sorrow. To me home feels calm and peaceful to me after a big day. Home tastes like a warm cup of hot chocolate before going to my bed. Home means love, helping each other and caring for yourself and other people. Home is where I watch tv with my family. Home is where I read and play. And I play one game which makes me happy every day. Home is where I have fun, any bad day will wash away. Home sounds like a normal house but to me and my family it’s full of joy and love. Home feels like safety and protection when I’m scared or afraid. Home looks like a regular house to some but to me it’s where memories come.
