Home Is Better Than A House
A home is better than a house. A house is dark with four walls and a roof but a home is where it's bright. A home is where you can have fun, play and be wild. A home is a place with a nice, warm, comfy bed with your cute stuffies. The walls are white just like the cold, fluffy snow. You can read books with a light, but a house is dark so there is no light anywhere. A home is the nice smell of a Christmas dinner that my mom makes in the oven. The kitchen is where my mom makes new foods and we all like what she makes. A home is my brother's room because his closet looks like tree bark with light brown and darker brown. His little green chair looks like a really healthy patch of dark green grass. A home is a place full of plants. My home is a jungle with so many plants that keep the air clean from all of the bacteria and sometimes germs too! A home is cold at night and warm in the morning. We have tropical plants in the backroom. For the winter and fall, we need to bring them in so they don't die. For the spring and summer they can go outside for the warm sunlight and the nice water. A home is a big, fallen tree for a big and bright bonfire. Then you can have a big, beautiful, bright bonfire that is warm, just like the sun. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for giving people a house so they can make it their dream home.
