Home isn’t just a building with windows and doors, it is so much more. You make fond memories with the ones you love. A home is also a place that brings love, laughter, peace, joy, and happiness and it brings family together. Home is where my mom cooks and bakes the yummiest things you can imagine like her homemade cinnamon applesauce that melts in your mouth. Home feels like a place where you can talk about your feelings and you can let it all out. Home also feels like my mom’s warm and cozy hugs. Home smells like my mom’s baking and home also smells like fresh clean laundry. A home looks like my family laughing at a funny joke that someone said or like my four brothers having fun together. Home is an important place to me because I can be free and do the things I love.
