Home

Home to me is not just a place that has walls and a roof. A home is a place that I can cherish because I can have my family close. I can taste my grandma’s yummy apple pie as we sit at the table telling funny jokes. As for dinner, I can have my dad's yummy and juicy hamburgers. They are a hit! In the morning when I wake up I always hear my puppy Casey barking at something that’s not there. Walking in the kitchen I see my mom making the yummiest bacon and eggs on warm mornings. At night we sit by the fire and I see my family’s glowing eyes as we play board games and my family laughs as I do these funny dances. On cold starry nights, I see my family all cuddled up on the couch while someone on the baking show we watch gets sent home. We also eat my stepmom's warm fresh brownies. That is why home matters so much to me and I am thankful for it.
