Home Is Where The Heart Is
Home is where the heart is. Home is where we thrive and grow. Home is not a house. A house is four walls and a roof. Home smells like my mom's delicious, freshly-baked banana muffins. If home had a taste, it would taste like the homemade banana swirl ice cream my siblings and I make all year. Home feels like a soft, cozy pillow at the end of a bed. If home were a sight, it would look like a beautiful forest by a stream. To me, home sounds like my brother and sister playing wildly in the backyard and my parents laughing together. Home is where you feel, feel all the emotions, from happy to sad, angry to excited. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for making this experience possible for others. Then again, home is where the heart is.
