Home Is Where Your Heart Is

Home is where your heart is Home is where I belong Where I'm not judged Where I can be myself When I think of home I think about the people I love The people I spend my days thinking about Home is my safe place Where I can express my feelings Home is where I know I’m loved What’s in your home isn’t just the people It’s the things you feel Home is where you feel Loved, Safe, Protected, Comforted Home isn’t just a random house or building It’s where you belong And home isn’t just where you live Home is where you feel at home When you’re with your people they are your home Home can be a building A tent, A camper, A car, A garage, A tree Home can be friends Cousins, Mom and dad, Step parents, Grandparents, Aunts and uncles, Animals Home isn’t just about where you live Home is where you don’t have to be alone Where you can tell people what's wrong Where you can tell people when your sad Or mad Unhappy or the happiest person ever Your home has all of your things All of the things you love All of the things that are yours Home is where you belong And home is where your heart is.
