Home is where my heart is Home is where my mom, dad and siblings are. It is where we get rid of all our scars. It is where we make memories. And began our stories. Home is where walls are decorated with pictures. That remind us of our younger nature. It is where the house is full of love and people. It is where we feel peaceful. Home is where you can feel safe and loved. It is where you will never be judged. Even during fights and misunderstandings. It will always be ensuring. Home is where you can smell my mom’s delicious cooking. While my siblings and I are playing. Where we have multiple family dinners. With all the family members. Home is where I can embrace both of my cultures. My African and Canadian ones. It is where I learn about myself every single day. Home is where we fast during Ramadan. During this lovely season. We pray and read our holy Quran. We fix our mistakes. We follow where our heart takes. Home is where happiness over throne’s sadness. It is as soft as a mattress. It is very precious. It is a zone of endless kisses and hugs. Home is where we have movie nights. Until the clock strikes midnight Where we eat sweets and popcorn. Until our stomachs our full and our hearts feel warm At the end home may not be a simple structure or houses. Home is where my heart is.
