Meaning of Home

Meaning of Home Home isn’t just a place with four walls and a roof, it’s not just a place where you eat, sleep, and goof. Home for me, is where I play games with my siblings and sometimes even fight. Home is where I smell fresh French toast on a Sunday morning or night. Home is where I eat cookie dough while baking cookies chocolate chip cookies. Where I build igloos with my mom, and we sleep in our hoodies. Home is where I have bonfires with friends, taking turns sharing stories while roasting marshmallows by the fire. Where every fun celebration we do fireworks in our backfield and invite other friends over to join us and admire. Home is our long drives to visit our family. It’s where I read little books to all my baby cousins happily. Where I sit with my aunt, and we watch movies and play games. Where me, my cousins and siblings all attack each other with nerf guns and pretend to go up in flames. Where I go to my aunt’s barn, and we celebrate birthday parties. Where we drink lots of pop and eat plenty of smarties. It’s where we get a tiny bit dirty while making dinner. It’s where we make hot chocolate, turn the fireplace on and watch our favorite shows to find out the winner. Home is where we make lots of memories. It’s going to a library and finding more documentaries. It’s where I sleep with my siblings when they are scared or sad to make good memories. Home to me, isn’t just a place with four walls and a roof. Home is a place to feel comfortable, loved, happy, and sometimes a place to goof.
