Our Family, Our Home
My name is Nadav Artom. I am 10 years old. I live with my two parents and my two older brothers Avishai and Judah.
My life is amazing in a good way, nothing's ever too bad. Dont get me wrong, things arent perfect. Sometimes we argue and sometimes I have to do things I don’t want to do but in the end we learn to get along and make peace. There is a painting in my house that I have walked by so many times and never really thought about until this assignment. It reads:
Our Family
grows & gives,
laughs & listens,
forgives & forgets,
teaches & trusts,
believes & belongs,
imagine & inspire,
dream & discover,
cares & comfort,
hugs & helps,
shares & smiles,
tries & triumphs,
enjoys & embrace,
lives & learn,
But above all…we love
When I think about home this painting is what home means to me.
A place where I can be myself . A place I can do my art and explore my creativity. A place where I discover who I want to be in the future by learning and discovering new things. A place where I learn valuable life skills like cleaning a toilet or how to cook an omelet. A place where I dont feel alone. If I need help with my homework there is someone willing and ready. There is always someone to talk to. When I am sad ther is someone to comfort me. When I am bored there is someone to play with me. There is also somewhere quiet and cumfy to hear my own thoughts. My home is filled with people who love me and care about me. I am home wherever my family is.
