What makes a house a home
What makes a house a home is:
Where I sleep,
I can’t hear a peep.
I walk downstairs with food to share,
I go outside and smell the fresh air.
With my family at my side,
A house that keeps me warm from inside.
My family picks me up when I fall,
Even if I am feeling small.
Although sometimes we fight,
We all have our right to take a bite.
Into my grandma's homemade pie,
I look right up into the sky.
I buy a chocolate bar,
With my money jar.
I go home only then do I feel safe,
Family is my place.
