Family is home

A home is not just a place. A home is where I have my space. Though the space is not just for me. The space is for my family. With the taste of my dad’s steak, And the scent of my mom’s chocolate cake. The sound of my dog’s nails clicking on the floor. The sound of a friend knocking on the door. The TV chattering away. My dog waking me up to another day. My mom gives me hugs and kisses. My dad gives me advice and life’s amazing blisses. My brother who works hard to succeed. My whole family heals me when I bleed.
