Home can mean different things to all of us And some can feel enormous We all can feel loved in a home So we will never ever feel alone Home is the place for you to feel safe And in a home, you can never be a disgrace You can come home to see your family You can tell them about your day with lots of fantasy At home we can have lots of fun If that means games, debating, or sticking out tongues If people are mean, and say bad things about you You can run home so your family can tell you none of that's true Life can be hard away from home That can be the time when you feel most alone It can be scary, sad or make you feel mad And when you're mad, you can be bad But that means home is the best place for you to be Which is good because you can always feel free Sometimes at home you want to be in your thoughts Instead of being outside chucking rocks That is good because you need time to yourself You can do that by reading books from the shelf So home is the place where you can be you The one place where you feel like saying “WOOOO!!!”
