Home

Home is where you feel safe and where you always can spend time with family. My home smells like a delicious dinner cooking in the oven. My home tastes like pizza with a movie on a Friday night with my family. My home feels like a warm blanket to curl up in, on a couch. My home sounds like my dog barking excitedly when I come home from school. My home looks like a cozy place to relax with family. A house is a structure but a home is a place to spend family and friends, a place to feel safe and a place to grow up in. The people in a house makes the house a home. My home is one of my favorite places because when I'm in my home I feel safe and loved. Everyone deserves a home to live in. I'm so grateful that Habitat for Humanity is making sure everyone gets that experience.
