If home were the five senses

Home to me is a warm and cozy structure that keeps you safe. In the walls of home there is love, happiness and memories. Home sounds like my family chatting in the lovely dining room. Home to me mentally feels like love, happiness, kindness and joy. Home to me physically feels like the soft and fluffy fur on my brown and black dog when I hug him. I also feel my parent’s smooth skin when hugging them. Home looks like me and my family hugging and showing love, and me and my brother playing together. Home tastes like a gourmet dinner fresh from the oven that brings me and my family together. Home to me smells like fresh chocolate chip cookies that are still warm. But do you know what the most important thing is? It’s to be happy, warm, and safe in your new home. I think every kid and every adult deserves a home to live in.
