More Than four Walls and a Roof
Home is where I wake up every morning and go to sleep every night. It is where I eat, play, and laugh. But it is so much more than that.
Home is full of memories. It is where I met my brother for the first time, and had my first playdate.
Home is support and protection. If I am scared then I can go to my family and I know they will comfort me with their words and a hug.
Home is personal. When we moved into the empty house we made it ours. My room has my favorite posters with hockey players, and a picture that my dad painted for me.
Home is where me and my brother fight and love. We may think we hate each other sometimes but really we love each other.
Home is a place where I have fun with my family and friends. I mean who does not like strategy games? But it is always where I can relax too.
Home is always there. No matter where I go home will always be in the same place.
This is what home means to me. I know that not everyone has a home that makes them feel this way and I am very fortunate to have such a special place.
