My Home Sweet Home
Home isn't a place with walls and a roof.
It is the intangible feeling from being in a familiar location.
A sense of peace and joy from loved ones.
An environment where everyone is welcome.
At my home you can see the pictures of celebrations and memories as you pass by.
Home isn't easy to define, but you know when you're there!
At home the front door glitters with a warm ambience. You walk inside and see the people that will stand with you no matter what.
And you smell the exquisite fresh homemade brownies.
To other people it can be the warmth of a cozy crackling fire.
Or forgetting everything that happened in the past and just letting go.
The thing I love most about my home is who I share it with .
I know that there is unconditional love even when we disagree.
It's a relationship I hope nothing will ever destroy.
Home can be many different things to many different people.
Some people sadly don't have a dwelling.
But we can make a change,
I can make a change.
Habitat for Humanity can help us do that and soon all of us will have a home sweet home!
