What’s Home for Me

Home isn’t always a place, it could be anything you love. It’s a feeling that has love, happiness, and joy that sticks with you for the rest of your life. To me, home is my family; the people that I can trust. Every day I come home and greet my mom with a hug. I put away my backpack and help my mom with dinner. When my dad comes home, I run to him with a big soft hug; it always makes my day. Home is my friends who help me when I need it. One of my favourite parts of the day is telling my best friend about my night. Whenever I’m sad, mad, or hurt; they will always be there right beside me. When my puppy went missing, my friends were by my side. Even some of them helped me and my family look! My friends are always here when I need it the most. Home is the nature that’s always around me; the deer that run-in front of me. The birds that sing as the sun comes up. The squirrels jumping tree to tree. The cats that come up to live with us. The flowers that I plant to watch them bloom. The nature that I love will always surround me. So, like I just said, home can be anything. Anything that you will love forever.
