No Place Like Home
My home is more than a normal building. My home is a place where I feel loved. It's a place where I can walk in through the front door to smell my mom making Indian food, and my older brother eating a bunch of junk food. My home is a beautiful and safe place where I know that I will be supported by my family and friends. When I come home from school I see my brother waiting at the front door for me to come home so he can go up stairs and play videogames with his friends who also just got home from school. My home is filled with love in the air. My home has my family. And my family is home. My home looks like my little cousins always coming over so we can build giant forts and watch movies while eating popcorn of course. And me, practicing my gymnastics routines so I can hopefully get better and maybe even win the competition! Home looks like me in the winter begging my dad if he can turn on the fire pit in the back yard so we can roast ooey gooey marshmallows and play on the trampoline! And if i get lucky, maybe I can go in my hot tub! Home can be a lot of different things for different things. For example, a bird's home can be their nest or a bee's home could be a hive. But, for me, it's my family. Home is me waiting for my parents to get home from work so I can give them a giant hug. Home is a place where I can make memories that will last a lifetime.
