Home is where…

Everyone deserves a home, but not everyone has one. Habitat for Humanity helps families bring together people and helps people get affordable housing. My family, feelings and smells make a home for me. Home is where my family is. My dog will play with me to make me feel happy and cozy. Home is where I can have my family time once I get back from school. Home is where the park is down the road so me and my brother Emmett can play. Home is where I can play volleyball with my moms’ boyfriend outside in the backyard. Home is where my feelings can explode and be set free. Home is where love surrounds me with a bunch of cuddles just holding on to you tightly. Home is where I can let out my feelings and talk about them. Home is where the smells of champagne toast bursts around the room. Home is where I can smell fresh cookies in the oven waiting to come out. Home is where I can smell the flowers roaming around the room. Home is where the neighborhood is friendly and kind to everybody. Home is where my family is, where my feelings are considered and where the smells make me feel cozy. Habitat for Humanity is helping people out by building homes for people to live in.
