What Makes Me Feel at Home
What makes me feel at home?
When I come home and get a hug from my mom and my dad, it makes me feel loved.
When I come home and sit on my couch and watch TV, it makes me comforted.
When I come home and pet my cats, I feel soft fur and that makes me feel comfortable.
When I come home and see my friends playing outside at the park. I feel happy makes because I don't feel lonely.
When I go play football with my dad and my brother the feeling is nice because I can spend time with them.
When I come home and smell fresh cookies, it makes me feel at home because we have an oven to cook in.
When I come home and play outside, my cat would try to sneak outside to have fun with me, but he's not allowed to, that makes me feel not alone.
When I come home and it's the Super Bowl, we will cheer and laugh when my team wins. That makes me feel at home because we have a TV to watch.
The memories that we had in our house make me feel comfortable because without a house I wouldn't have any memories. I don't know what I would do without them. I would never have a life, if I didn't have a home because we would have no memories.
When I come home and see the new cats I am fostering and give them a new home, it feels so nice.
When I come home, I can stand on the floor in my house without it cracking and falling.
when I come home and have a roof over my head. I am safe with a house.
When I come home and look in my room, that is very special to me because I spent my whole life there.
When I come home and see my brother, he always has nice treats for me.
When I come home and I get a treat after school that my mom makes.
When I come home and go into my basement I see all my old Christmas presents that gave me SO many memories.
If I had no home it would be hard to have so many memories.
When I come home and have a bed to sleep on.
When I come home and spend time with my family.
That’s what makes me feel at home.
Thank to Habitat for Humanity for giving other people homes.
