Meaning of Home

When you look around your home what do you see. Well, you might see some furniture books, walls, empty boxes and all types of things! Is that really what a home means? Think again. 35,000 thousand Canadians are homeless on one given night. Hello, my name is Anabela! Today I will be telling you what home really means. Home is a place where you can feel safe. It has memories that you made with your family. Home also means family. We are so lucky to have a roof above our head and warm food on the table. Firstly, I will tell you what family means to me. Family means sitting in between your parents feeling safe and sound. Family is a blessing it is someone who you can always count on, and it is always there for you not only in good times. It is the most precious gift you can have. Family is someone who is close to your heart. Who brings out the best in you who celebrates loves, laughs and dreams with you. Someone who loves you infinitely. Secondly, I will be telling you what home means to me. Home Is a place where you are always welcomed and loved. A place where you feel you belong and where you share love and happiness. Home is a place you will always be surrounded by those who love you, a place or feeling of belonging. From the moment you walk in the door you are safe, you are warm and you are loved a place that feels like a tight hug. Lastly, is what safety means to me. Safety means feeling safe in your home protected from all the harm in the outside world. Safety is having a warm bed to sleep in, food on the table to eat and a warm home to live in. Feeling safe to talk about anything and not be judged, laugh, cry and love be you and show your true color’s. In conclusion I told you what family, home and safety means to me.
