Why I feel safe at my house

When I come to think of the meaning of home I think of comfort and a safe feeling. At my house I have a lot of stuffed animals. If I ever feel unsafe at my house, I go to my room and lay on my bed with all my stuffies and cuddle them. Whenever someone is over, I feel safer because if there is something bad happening there would be more witnesses in the house. Sometimes I go to friends' houses for sleepovers, playdates, or just to eat and chat. If it is a sleepover then I pack one of the stuffies at my house to cuddle with just in case I get home sick or scared at night. Everyone's meaning of home is different for them.
