My Unique Home

Home is a special place to me, where I have a shelter above my head, and I have warm, comfy, clothes to wear. I have a family that I love, and they love me back. That is everything a child can ask for. I learn lots of new things from my older brother and his interesting workbooks. The smell of delicious bolognese wafts across the room to where I stand, and it drags me to the kitchen where it is waiting for me on the table. In the chilly winters, I go to the backyard where the snow is falling, and I skate in my backyard ice rink. And when I come in, my family is waiting for me. I will always appreciate all the hundreds of my favorite books that surround me cozily. I am so happy I have books to read and to learn from at my home. This is the very same home I have known for five years, and I plan to know it for so many more. I will cherish every single moment I have made in this home, the ones I made with the ones I love. Lots of people across the world don’t have a home, so let’s help them get a home that means something to them just like it does to me.
