The Meaning of Home

For me home is a happy place, Home is a place with lots of space. Home is where my family lives, Home is a place where I can give. Home is a place where I have comfort, Home is a place where I use lots of effort. Home is a place where I am safe, And where I have a happy face. Home is a place where I can rest, And where I can be at my best. Home is where I can read in peace, Home is where my emotions can be released. Home is where there are pictures hung on the walls, Home is where I can skip down the halls. Home is where I am heard, Home is where I can look out the windows and see a bird. Home is where I can be myself, And look at all the things on the shelf. Home is where I spend all my time with my family, Home is where me and my family can live happily. Home is where everyone cares, Home is where everyone treats each other fair. Home is where everyone loves each other, Home is where we are all together. Home is where no one is ever alone, Home is where I have grown. Home is where I eat, I can eat meat, Or even something sweet! This is what home means to me, And you can clearly see, Home is an amazing place to be.
