My Home

My home is a place of laughter, peace and prosperity. It is a safe place to do, or tell, anything. It is a place of love, safety, and comfort. My home is one of my most treasured things, it means so much to me, that I would go to the bottom of the ocean to find it. It is fun, loud and quiet, and happiness. It is a place of creativity, dreams, and hope for the future. It has my amazing brother who can do pretty much anything, a dog (who loves his cookies), and many books. It has my Mom, who makes the best quiche that I have ever tasted, who is the queen of all mothers, and my Dad, who makes the best cookies and is the best at being awesome all the time, both who love me and my brother. My home is both natural and modern. It has a zipline, a trampoline, and a whole bunch of trees. My home is to me like water is to the sea, or syrup is to waffles. My home means the world to me, and the wilderness is included. But a home is not a house, which can be bought. A home cannot be bought, because you can’t buy love. A home is where your heart is, a feeling. It can not be flooded, burnt, or obliterated. You can find it anywhere, from the highest mountain, to the bottom of valleys. It can not be defined by words, a dictionary, or even Google. It can only be defined by the heart and soul. It can be with your family, pets or even with an IPad. It is where you are at your best, your happiest. That is where your home is.
