My Home Is My Heart

Welcome to my home! A place where you can come back and you’ll be welcomed no matter what. Home is 15 percent watching television, while the fireplace burns bright illuminating the room with ambient light. All while we cuddle under cozy blankets and stare into the screen in awe. Home is 15 percent relaxation,I go home and collapse on my bed to just have a moment of quiet And to soak in that feeling of home. Home is 35 percent comforting food, as the aroma of my mom’s famous butter chicken spreads through the house while my brother and I banter on and on. Home is 35 percent my family, the walls adorned with photos and trinkets from all of our adventures, and every scratch and scar on the wall is another memory in my heart. My home is 100 percent the love and heart of my family! A house is where we live but a home is where we learn to love.
