I’m Home

Chicken in the oven and veggies on the stove, That is the smell of home. Children laughing and parents chatting, That is the sound of home. Chocolate cake icing melting in my mouth, That is the taste of home. Family group hugs every day, That is the feeling of home. When my family says, “I love you,” and kisses me goodnight, That is when I know I'm home. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity.
