Home
Home is the place where I can find my family’s warm embrace when I come home from school. When I'm sad or hurt they always find a way to cheer me up. Home is where I eat the rice, chicken, vegetables, and soup all homemade right in our kitchen. I savor each piece of food I ate throughout my life. Home is where I can feel joy when my lost toy or mitten or jacket is found. Or when I win a hard game I've been trying to beat for ages
Home is where I make memories, like my birthday, watching a new movie, and putting pictures up of my visit to Paris. Home is where I celebrate New Year’s, my birthday and everything in between. It is where I play all types of games from battleship, cheese, checkers, and video games. At home I can read books from page to page, from cover to cover, all uniquely their own books and stories of old. Home is where I learn history about Africa, Asia, Europe, Oceania, and the Americas. It’s where I play with my cat and bird with feather toys and feeding my bird seeds.
Home is a place where I feel safe and secure in my little apartment eating and sleeping with the door tightly locked in case of a storm or flood or hurricane, reading and playing waiting for the storm to die out. Home is where I crawl up into my warm cozy bed and sleep all night till I have to go to school the next day. I will always remember the memories I make in my home.
