IF HOME WERE THE 5 SENSES

When I walk in my house I smell all my favorite food, from casserole to fresh baked cookies, my mum can cook it all, and smelling all of that delicious food makes my house a home. If home were a sight it would be my brother’s valuable art and my dog’s tale just missing all of the expensive and full glasses. If home were a sound it would be the record player playing all of our favorite music,and the kettle boiling so me and my brother can make raspberry lemonade. If home were a feeling [touch] it would be my cool leather couch and the warm embrace of my family’s arms. If home were a feeling[emotion]it would be happiness,joy,love and frustration and all of the above. And traditions,home is where we can celebrate and honor all the traditions that mean something to us. Thank you to Habatat for humanity for helping the people in need and building houses that will become their homes.
