It is Not a House It is Home
I love my home...
Home is somewhere I can go, after an extremely long day. In my home I have a safe and cozy place to play and have fun.
I feel a lot of emotions in my home...
In my home I feel a lot of emotions like sadness, happiness, love, anger, excitement, and disappointment. Home is where the heart is, home is where my heart is too.
I smell and taste this in my home...
In my home I smell and taste my mom’s famous tacos and nachos. I also smell and taste my Ava’s (Grandma) fries and steak. I smell my mom’s and my flowers, After a shower I smell lavender and roses too.
I see this in my home...
In my home I see a lot of love. I see family and friends going in and out of the door. Even though my dog is gone I still see her, I see her in my heart too.
I hear this in my home...
In my home I hear love and laughter too. I hear kindness and conversations. Although my family and friends sometimes fight, we still love each other.
I feel this and this in my home...
In my home I feel family and friends when I give them a hug. I feel my family and friends love, kindness, and happiness.
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity...
Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for providing homes for people in need. I know that moving is extremely hard, recently I moved. It feels like you have to restart again. The last thing a want to say is... It is not a house, it is home.
