HAPPY HOME

Helpful Optimistic Magical Enthusiastic experience Home is a safe place where everyone feels loved. It provides a warm and cozy shelter and gives you everything you need. People love, respect, communicate and have fun with each other. The most important part of a home is to share it with others. I am really privileged to have two homes where I am loved. I have one in India as I was born there. The other is in Prince Edward Island. My 5 years stay in India brings back nostalgic memories. I lived with my grandparents, uncle, aunts and cousins. My beautiful home had two floors. My family and I lived on the bottom floor with my grandparents while my cousins lived on the top floor. One of the memories that often comes to my mind is coming back from school and running upstairs with a candy bar in my hand to share it with my cousins. I had lots of fun with my family and friends back in India. I miss them. To have a better life, we migrated to Prince Edward Island in October 2018. Trying to adapt to a new environment is not easy but the people here were so welcoming that we felt at home immediately. Our journey from the apartment to our own mini-home took us three years. We had an addition to our family in 2021. Though I don’t have my extended family here, I have my small little family and friends who always make me feel at home. I have learned that home is where you feel safe and happy with your loved ones. Look for those small moments to cherish and make your home a happy place. I am blessed and grateful for my home and I wish everyone has a HOME.
