What is Home?

Home isn't just a roof and walls, home is a great place. Home is where all great memories happen. Home is my safe place, where I would hide from anything. When you think about it, home is your favourite place, when people say “I am homesick” what does that really mean? It means you love your home with all of your heart, there are many great things inside your home, the kitchen where all the freshly baked cookies, brownies or anything, is all made at HOME. Home is where my parents deliver a loving goodnight to me. Then the next day I wake up and I hear a sweet good morning. Home is where me and my brother start competition between siblings, where we laugh at a funny video or even laugh at each other. Home is where all the movie marathons happen, and when I am watching a frightening movie, I sink my head deep into the pillow until the scene is over. During Christmas, Thanksgiving, or someone's birthday, all the family get togethers are usually at home. We all gather around the table full of freshly, deliciously cooked with love food, and watch as the stuffing steams with warmth. When I have my friends over we laugh and play, we have so much fun being together in one amazing place, home. I know some people don’t take home seriously, but I do because I love my home. The place that I relax in my nice warm bed. I am so thankful to even have a home, some people don’t even have anywhere to stay except the ground. I am lucky to have a place that I can stay when all the snow comes rushing through. I love my comfortable home with all of my heart.
