This is my home
My home is a special place in Ontario Canada. Home is where I find love and happiness. Home is in my sister’s room where I share laughs and special memories of our birthdays. Home is in my room where I keep my favorite squish mellows and twinkling LED lights, where I have my books library and closet with my traditional dresses. Home is in my kitchen where I bake chicken with potatoes and my grandma’s delicious recipes and where I pack my school lunch. Home is in my basement where I find pictures of my late aunt and toys of my childhood.
Home is where my school is, in my classrooms and hallways, the library and play yard where I grow and learn every day. Home is where I find my teacher, friends and volunteers that help me all day long. Home is on play structure and the basketball nets, in the gym and in music class.
My home is on my farm where I run with my goat Amethyst, where I laugh and jump on the trampoline, where my chickens lay fresh brown and colorful eggs. The place full of colorful trees, beautiful flowers, blue jays and red cardinals around the pond where my sister finds the frogs, where my chicks graze fresh grass is my home.
Home is in parks where I ride my bicycle with my sister, where I find the birdhouses and squirrel nests, where I witness snapping turtles nesting and laying eggs. Home is where I give back to my community to end poverty and homelessness. Home is where I raise funds, sell flowers and fruits to donate to the shelters, where I bring fresh produce to help those in need. This is the meaning of my home.
