My Homes Away From Home
My School is my home away from home where I might sit
around and read a poem
When there are tours I always wave “hi” even though I’m a little bit shy
Thump Thump Thump I hear in the second floor I might see something I adore
As I get home I finally sit down and on my face is the
opposite of a frown
Now that it’s in the weekend I finally get a break now that I’m the car I get to have a milkshake
Now I’m so here so far away in my special places now that I can
see all my favorite faces
Back at my camp it brings back so many memories and
absolutely no enemies
I’m always so cozy and no one can annoy me because
I’m free to just be me
My cottage is like a campfire surrounded with love, friends and family
With this special place no love can be replaced
At my chalet no harm can be put into a good day
I’m zooming down white fluffy snow I can barely feel my toe
My warm homes my cold homes doesn't matter where
it is it’s in my poems
My homes are always so cozy and warm this is who I am
and this is how I was formed
