Meaning of Home

A home is where the heart resides, Where love and laughter never divides, A place where memories are made and kept, Where hopes and dreams are never slept. Home is where we find our peace, Our comfort and our release, A place to lay our heads at night, And wake up to the morning light. It's where we share our joys and tears, Our happiness and our fears, A place to build our lives and dreams, And make our hearts and souls beam. It isn’t just a roof over our heads, It’s our parents tucking us into our beds, My mothers voice so soft and reassuring, But me I love rock climbing The walls that hold us tight, Are filled with warmth and light, A shelter from the world outside, Where we can be ourselves and glide. The kitchen where we cook and share, Is where our hearts are always there, The laughter and the joy we bring, Is what makes our home a special thing. The memories we make within, Are the ones we'll always win, The moments we spend together, Are the ones we'll always remember. Soft and cozy as it is, Sometimes life can feels like a frizz, Life is easy and life is hard, Right now I like to make holiday cards So let us cherish this place, Where we find our peaceful space, And fill it with love and light, For our home is our delight.
