My Meaning Of Home

There are a lot of things that mean home to me, but the three things that stand out to me are: family, comfort and food. I think family is part of my meaning of home because family is really important in many ways. My dad and mom keep me from fighting with my sister. My sister acts crazy and insane and makes me laugh. My parents take care of me and give me things like food and my pet cat. I also think comfort is part of my meaning of home because it makes home welcoming and cozy. Without comfort everything would be hard or uncomfortable. I especially like my bed because it has flannel sheets and they are soft. The most comfortable place is the downstairs couch or the upstairs couch. Lastly, food is part of my meaning of home because food is really really good. My mom makes delicious meals like macaroni and cheese or Japanese curry or beef stew. We have traditions like making cut out cookies on Christmas. These are all things that mean home to me. Family, food and comfort all make me feel like I belong, which makes me a better person. Home always makes me feel better.
